1. Service Overview
CML Courier, a division of CML Logistics LLC, provides same-day, rush, scheduled, and business courier services throughout Southern California. We specialize in time-sensitive deliveries for medical, legal, automotive, retail, and professional service industries.
All services are provided subject to these Terms & Conditions, which govern the relationship between CML Courier and our customers.
2. Quote Disclaimer
Quotes provided through our website, by phone, or by email are estimates based on the information provided. A quote is not a binding agreement until it is accepted by both parties and a delivery is confirmed.
Final pricing may vary based on actual distance, package characteristics, urgency, traffic conditions, wait times, tolls, or special handling requirements.
3. Delivery Limitations
CML Courier operates within our published service area and selected surrounding regions. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We do not guarantee delivery by a specific time unless a guaranteed service level has been expressly agreed to in writing.
4. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport the following items:
- • Hazardous materials, explosives, flammables, or dangerous goods
- • Illegal goods, contraband, or items prohibited by law
- • Oversized freight requiring specialized trucking or liftgate equipment
- • Live animals (except where pre-approved in writing)
- • Perishable items without proper packaging or pre-arranged conditions
- • Items exceeding the capacity of a standard sedan, SUV, or cargo van
If you are unsure whether an item can be transported, please contact us before booking.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- • Providing accurate pickup and delivery addresses and contact information
- • Ensuring packages are properly labeled, packaged, and ready for pickup
- • Declaring the true nature and value of items being shipped
- • Being available to receive or release shipments at the agreed time
- • Paying all agreed charges in a timely manner
6. Liability Limitations
CML Courier carries insurance for the shipments we transport. Liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the shipment or the maximum coverage provided under our insurance policy, whichever is lower.
We are not liable for delays, failures, or damages caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, accidents, civil unrest, or actions by third parties.
Claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due as agreed at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, business checks, and approved invoicing for established business accounts.
Invoices are typically due within 15 days unless otherwise agreed. Past-due accounts may be subject to late fees and suspension of service.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before a driver has been dispatched may be eligible for a full refund or credit. Cancellations after dispatch may be subject to a cancellation fee or full charge.
Recurring or scheduled route changes should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance when possible.
